Referrals

Referrals can be received by emailed to hello@bluebellcentre.com.au, via Medical Objects or fax- 02 40036033

Families can access the service privately without a referral from their doctor, however it is recommended to speak with your GP as this may help identify other health needs or referral options.

To claim a Medicare rebate for an Autism Diagnostic Assessment, very specific requirements must be met. The person must be under 25 years old and have been referred by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist or eligible medical practitioner. Further information about the Medicare rebates for complex neurodevelopmental disorder assessments is available by clicking 'Medicare Information' below.

Individual's attending therapy under an eligible Mental Health Care Plan from a GP can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session (increasing as of July 2025)

Assessment

After an initial parent/carer appointment we will provide an accurate quote for assessment. Please see the assessment section for an approximate cost for assessments.

We require full fees be paid prior to the release of a report.

Therapy

Standard psychology therapy sessions are charged at a rate of $250 per 50-minute session. Clients attending under an eligible Mental Health Care Plan can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session.

Please note we are unable to provide bulk billing. Please speak to your GP about alternate options.
Private Health Insurance - please contact your fund directly to enquire about rebates.

Policies

When you book an appointment you will receive our Welcome pack with our consent, privacy and cancellation policies.

Please note that there are fees for cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time.

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends psychological services be provided at a rate of $311 per 50-minute session. To support families to be able to better access our service we charge a reduced rate.
