Referrals and Fees
Referrals
- Referrals can be emailed to hello@bluebellcentre.com.au.
- Families can access the service privately without a referral from their doctor, however it is recommended to speak with your GP as this may help identify other health needs or referral options.
- To claim a Medicare rebate for an Autism Diagnostic Assessment, very specific requirements must be met. The person must be under 25 years old and have been referred by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist or eligible medical practitioner. Further information about the Medicare rebates for complex neurodevelopmental disorder assessments is available by clicking 'Medicare Information' below.
- Individual's attending under an eligible Mental Health Care Plan for therapy can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session.
- We accept NDIS self-managed and plan managed referrals
- We accept third party referrals
Assessment
- We require a deposit of $350 to book an assessment. The deposit covers the fee for the initial assessment appointment which is a parent/guardian clinical interview. During this appointment the psychologist will make assessment plan recommendations and determine total costs. Please see the assessment section for an approximate cost for assessments.
- We require full fees be paid prior to the last assessment appointment, and before the release of a report.
Therapy
- Standard psychology therapy sessions are charged at a rate of $250 per 50-minute session. Clients attending under an eligible Mental Health Care Plan can receive a Medicare rebate of $141.85 per session.
